What Type of Siding is Best?

James Hardie Color Plus Siding Installation

We only install quality siding products, including James Hardie and James Hardie Color Plus products, LP SmartSide and LP DiamondKote, and Woodtones Rustic Series

Vinyl Siding is an inferior siding product that does not add value or adequately protect your home. We do not believe in installing products that do not add value or serve our customers intentions, therefore we do not offer Vinyl.

Metal Siding, similar to vinyl, is highly susceptible to damage from impact, wind, and fade from the sun. Unlike our preferred siding products like James Hardie or LP, metal is not an ideal substrate for painting therefore we do not offer Metal siding products.

Wood-Composite and Fiber-Cement siding are known as hard-backed siding product; compared to cheap alternatives these products are extremely durable and offer better protection for your home than any other products available.

Overall we absolutely recommend one siding product above the rest — James Hardie Color Plus fiber-cement siding.

Fiber-Cement siding is not susceptible to penetration from birds and bugs, it offers fire-resistance, and it seems to wear-and-tear better over time than wood-fiber siding, including LP Smartside and LP Diamond Kote.
