Why certifications matter
Siding installation has a low barrier to entry. Anyone can call themselves a contractor. Certifications, licensing, and insurance are what separate legitimate professionals from those who cut corners. James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor
Elite Preferred is the highest certification level awarded by James Hardie (the #1 siding manufacturer in the United States). Only a fraction of siding contractors nationwide qualify for this status.
Requirements
- Factory-trained on James Hardie products and installation specifications
- Demonstrated track record of quality installations
- Verified customer satisfaction standards
- Up-to-date on the latest James Hardie products and installation methods
- Able to register and activate full product warranties on your behalf
Why it matters for you
This certification means we install James Hardie products exactly as intended, activating your full 30-year substrate and 15-year Color Plus warranties. Non-certified contractors cannot fully validate these warranties.
Idaho Licensed Contractor
We hold a valid Idaho contractor's license, meeting all requirements set by the Idaho Contractors Board. This protects you as a homeowner with legal accountability, verified insurance, and regulatory oversight.
Requirements
- Passed state licensing examination
- Verified business registration in Idaho
- Carries required liability insurance
- Workers' compensation coverage
- Subject to regulatory oversight and dispute resolution
